Pictures from 2011-2012 School Year!
In May, McCracken's Student Council went to visit Rustic Falls for a full day of work, fun and play. It is a beautiful camp with amazing views. It is so peaceful up there!
Our next service project was to create wind chimes for the camp. We used kits to make them and then added our own decorations. See the process that went into making the wind chimes! During this time, we also created cards and posters. The cards were to deliver with our wind chimes, while the posters were for our own supply drive.
The seventh graders took on a letter writing campaign to ask businesses for art supplies. Unfortunately, no one was able to help us. When we didn't get a response, we took up the cause on our own and had a supply drive at school. The following pictures are of the letter writing campaign.
At the beginning of the year, the Lentz family came to speak to the 7th graders. They gave us ideas for things that they saw as a need, along with asking for our suggestions. It was great to be able to talk to the people that founded the camp!
